Bertha the Book Machine & Barry the Book Barrow
Bertha is Beech Street's very own Book Machine. She can be found outside the Head teacher's office and is part of our Beech Street Family. She sits proudly with a wide range of amazing books inside. She is used to help celebrate birthdays and pupils rewards.
Barry the Book Barrow is always available to deliver bedtime stories to our youngest children. Each week Barry will be wheeled out into the carpark and children and parents can help themselves to a wide-rage of stories.
This year we are delighted to announce that Cargills have agreed to sponsor Bertha the book machine and provide a free high quality birthday book for every single child.
